Widely respected, Alan has a strong background within the automotive repair and related industries, starting as an apprentice mechanic, progressing from Technician, Chargehand, Service Advisor, Estimator to Service and Bodyshop Manager before moving into I.T. and Training.

Alan is also qualified as an adult trainer and has worked with many leading Insurance and Fleet companies, training Staff Engineers and Approved Repairers to use Thatcham based estimating systems. For the past 6 years Alan has been an Implementation Consultant – Application Specialist for a leading Paint Manufacturer working closely with Bodyshops and training them in the use of the paint company’s Bodyshop Management system.
